I started writing music in 2019 simply sharing experiences I had with my family. I never thought I would actually record these songs. A friend of mine gave me a contact for someone she knew in Nashville with a studio. As fate would have it, I found out it was my classmate from High School Robin Ruddy. I remembered her walking around in school with her guitar. We connected and thanks to Robin and her team at Parlor Studio, I share with you “Late Bloomer” and my brand new album, “Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meet Kim Kushner<\/h2>\n

Kim Kushner is a testament to the power of perseverance and resilience. Her first guitar was a gift from her dad in high school and she dabbled in singing and songwriting in college, yet her focus was elsewhere. After dedicating decades to raising three wonderful sons and being a devoted full-time mom, Kim decided it was time to chase her own aspirations. At the age of 61, she rekindled her passion for songwriting and guitar playing, making her first public appearance at a St. Petersburg Car Show and has culminated in the release of her debut album, “Late Bloomer,” and the newly released album, “Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow” at the remarkable age of 66. <\/span>Kim says it’s never too late to pursue your dreams.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her music embodies the essence of folksy storytelling, delivering feel-good tunes that resonate with audiences on a deep, relatable level while also provoking thought and introspection.<\/span><\/p>\n
